Instructions

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a large skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain any excess fat from the skillet.
  • Add the chopped onion and minced garlic to the skillet and cook until the onion is translucent, about 5 minutes.
  • Stir in the chopped cabbage, diced tomatoes, beef broth, salt, pepper, paprika, and thyme. Mix everything thoroughly and let it cook for a few minutes.
  • Transfer the mixture to a 9×13 inch (23×33 cm) baking dish.
  • Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake in the preheated oven for 45 minutes.
  • After 45 minutes, carefully remove the foil and sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese on top.
  • Bake for an additional 10 to 15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  • Once cooked, let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
