Ingredients

Base Ingredients

  • 425 g 1/2 of a 30-ounce tube refrigerated sugar cookie dough

Filling Ingredients

  • 170 g 1 cup white chocolate chips, divided
  • 65 g 1/2 cup chopped macadamia nuts Can substitute with chopped pecans or walnuts
  • 70 g 1/2 cup dried cranberries Can substitute with raisins
  • 40 g 1/2 cup shredded coconut
  • 200 mL 1/2 can sweetened condensed milk

Instructions

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a greased 8×8 inch (20×20 cm) pan, press the refrigerated sugar cookie dough evenly across the bottom.
  • Sprinkle 3/4 cup of the white chocolate chips over the crust, followed by chopped macadamia nuts, dried cranberries, and shredded coconut.
  • Drizzle the sweetened condensed milk evenly over all the toppings.

Baking

  • Place the pan in the preheated oven and bake for 25-28 minutes or until the edges start to turn golden brown.

Cooling and Finishing

  • Remove the pan from the oven and allow the bars to cool completely.
  • Melt the remaining 1/4 cup of white chocolate chips and drizzle it over the cooled bars.

Notes

For a flavor twist, consider adding orange zest to the mixture. These bars can be made a day ahead and stored in an airtight container. For freezing, wrap tightly and store for up to 3 months.
