Ingredients

Dry Ingredients

  • 750 g All-Purpose Flour
  • 90 g Baking Powder

Wet Ingredients

  • 830 ml Milk (warmed) Ensure the milk is warmed for better mixing.
  • 60 ml Vegetable Oil

Instructions

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 200°C (400°F).
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the all-purpose flour and baking powder. Whisk them together well.
  • Gradually add the warmed milk and vegetable oil to the dry ingredients. Stir until the dough begins to come together into a ball.
  • Sprinkle a little more flour onto the surface and gently knead the dough, avoiding overmixing.
  • Shape the dough into a rough oval or circle and place it onto a parchment-lined baking sheet.

Baking

  • Bake for about 35-45 minutes, or until golden brown. Confirm doneness by inserting a toothpick; it should come out clean.

Notes

Serve warm with butter, honey, or jam. It can also be topped with savory ingredients like avocado or cheese.
