Crust

  • 1 pre-made buttery pie crust (approximately 9 inches/23 cm)

Instructions

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the mashed sweet potatoes, brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, and salt. Whisk or mix until well blended and smooth.
  • Stir in the heavy cream, eggs, and vanilla extract until fully incorporated.
  • Pour the sweet potato filling into the pre-made buttery pie crust, spreading it evenly.

Baking

  • Bake in the preheated oven for 45-50 minutes, or until the filling is set and the surface is lightly golden.
  • Remove from the oven and let cool before slicing into bars.

Notes

Serve chilled or at room temperature. Delicious on their own or topped with whipped cream, vanilla ice cream, or chopped nuts. For varied flavors, consider adding chopped nuts to the filling or drizzling melted dark chocolate on top.
