Ingredients

Main Ingredients

  • 4 pieces chicken thighs (bone-in, skin-on) For extra flavour
  • 60 ml maple syrup
  • 60 ml soy sauce
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 30 g butter, melted

Instructions

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 200°C (400°F).
  • In a medium bowl, mix together the maple syrup, soy sauce, minced garlic, and melted butter until well combined.
  • Place the chicken thighs in a spacious baking dish, making sure they’re arranged in a single layer.
  • Pour the maple garlic glaze over the chicken, ensuring every thigh is well-coated in the delicious sauce.

Cooking

  • Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and the skin is golden brown and caramelised.
  • Once done, remove the chicken from the oven and allow it to rest for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

For enhanced flavour, marinate the chicken thighs in the glaze for a few hours or overnight before baking. For a spicy twist, add a pinch of chili flakes to the glaze. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
