Ingredients

Main Ingredients

  • 225 g chewy noodles (like egg noodles or rice noodles)
  • 450 g beef (thinly sliced)
  • 30 ml soy sauce
  • 15 ml oyster sauce
  • 30 ml hoisin sauce
  • 15 g cornstarch
  • 15 ml vegetable oil
  • 3 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 2.5 cm ginger (grated)
  • 2 green onions (sliced, for garnish)
  • Sesame seeds (for garnish, optional)

Instructions

Preparation

  • Cook the noodles according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
  • In a bowl, toss the sliced beef with cornstarch, soy sauce, oyster sauce, and hoisin sauce until evenly coated.

Cooking

  • Heat vegetable oil in a pan over medium-high heat. Add the minced garlic and grated ginger, stirring briefly to release their fragrance.
  • Add the beef to the pan and cook until it is browned and cooked through, usually about 4-5 minutes.
  • Toss in the cooked noodles and stir-fry for another 2-3 minutes until everything is well combined and heated through.

Garnishing and Serving

  • Garnish with sliced green onions and sesame seeds before serving.

Notes

For added flavor, consider marinating the beef in the sauces for about 30 minutes before cooking. You can also incorporate vegetables such as broccoli, bell peppers, or snow peas for added nutrition and color.
