Instructions

Preparation

  • Start by cooking your pasta according to the package instructions. Make sure to drain and set aside when done.
  • In a large skillet, add the olive oil and heat it over medium heat.
  • Add the minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for about 1 minute until it becomes fragrant.
  • Add the ground turkey to the pan, breaking it up with a spatula. Cook for about 5-7 minutes until the turkey starts to brown.
  • Toss in the chopped broccoli and yellow bell pepper, stirring to combine everything well.
  • Sprinkle in the ground turmeric, Italian seasoning, and salt and pepper to taste. Stir well to incorporate the flavors.
  • Pour in the heavy cream, red wine (or grape juice), and cranberry sauce. Mix thoroughly and let it come to a simmer.
  • Cover the skillet and let it simmer for about 10 minutes so all the flavors meld together.
  • After 10 minutes, add the shredded spinach and stir. Cover and let simmer for an additional 5 minutes, or until the spinach is wilted and the sauce thickens.
