Ingredients

Truffle Base

  • 2 packages golden Oreo cookies (about 50–60 cookies)
  • 6 oz cream cheese, softened (¾ block)
  • 1-2 tbsp Baileys Irish Cream Adjust to taste for flavor strength.

Chocolate Coating

  • 1.5 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips or melting chocolate
  • 1 tbsp coconut oil (optional) Use for smoother dipping.
  • ¼ cup white chocolate chips For drizzling.
  • Flaky sea salt, crushed candy cane, cocoa nibs, or chocolate shavings For garnish.

Instructions

Preparation

  • Crush the Oreo cookies in a food processor until fine crumbs are formed.
  • Mix in softened cream cheese and Baileys Irish Cream until smooth.
  • Chill the mixture in the freezer for about 30 minutes.

Forming and Coating

  • Scoop out portions and roll into bite-sized balls.
  • Melt semi-sweet chocolate and coconut oil together until smooth.
  • Dip each chilled truffle into melted chocolate and place on a parchment-lined tray.
  • Melt white chocolate and drizzle over dipped truffles. If desired, add Baileys to the white chocolate before drizzling.
  • Garnish with flaky sea salt or other toppings and chill for at least 20 minutes.

Notes

Store the truffles in an airtight container in the fridge for up to a week. They can also be frozen for longer storage.
