Ingredients

Main Ingredients

  • 1 cup Creamy peanut butter Crunchy works too if desired; use natural peanut butter but stir well
  • 1/3 cup Honey Maple syrup can be used instead for a softer mixture
  • 1/2 cup Vanilla protein powder Chocolate protein powder is also great

Optional Add-ins

  • 1/4 cup Mini chocolate chips For a sweet bite
  • 1/4 cup Unsweetened shredded coconut For texture
  • 2 tablespoons Chia seeds or ground flax For a fiber boost
  • 1 teaspoon Cinnamon For warm flavor
  • 1/4 cup Chopped peanuts For crunch

Instructions

Preparation

  • Add the peanut butter and honey to a bowl and stir until smooth.
  • Add the protein powder slowly, mixing as you go until well combined.
  • When the mixture looks like thick dough, scoop and roll into small balls, about 1 tablespoon each.
  • Set the balls on a plate or tray lined with parchment paper.
  • Chill in the fridge for at least 30 minutes to firm up.

Notes

If the mixture is too sticky, add a bit more protein powder. If too dry, add a drizzle of honey or peanut butter. Rolling your hands in water can help with stickiness during rolling.
