Ingredients

Pizza Base

  • 2 loaves French Bread Cut in half for pizza base.

Toppings

  • 2 tablespoons Olive Oil To drizzle on cut sides of the bread.
  • 1 jar Pasta Sauce Evenly divide among bread halves.
  • 4 cups Cheese Use your favorite type.
  • 1 sprinkle Parmesan Cheese For topping.
  • 1 sprinkle Fresh Basil Optional, add before serving.
  • 2 bags Frozen Mixed Veggies Steam according to package instructions.
  • 1.5 lbs Red Grapes Rinsed before serving.

Instructions

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 450 degrees Fahrenheit (232 degrees Celsius).
  • Cut the loaves of French bread in half and place them on a baking sheet.
  • Drizzle the olive oil over the cut sides of the bread, then sprinkle with garlic salt or your choice of seasonings.
  • Bake the bread for about 5 minutes, or until it is lightly browned.

Topping and Baking

  • Once the bread is ready, evenly divide the pasta sauce among the four halves.
  • Top each bread half with cheese and any other toppings you like (think pepperoni, mushrooms, or extra veggies).
  • Finish with a sprinkle of Parmesan cheese on top.
  • Bake again for another 10 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and slightly browned. For a golden finish, you can broil it for the last minute.

Serving

  • While the pizzas are baking, rinse your grapes and steam the frozen mixed veggies according to the package instructions.
  • If desired, toss in some freshly chopped basil just before serving.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. Reheat in the oven for best results. Consider different sauce options like BBQ, pesto, or alfredo for flavor variations.
