Ingredients

Main Ingredients

  • 4 large flour tortillas
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup dried cranberries
  • 1/2 cup finely chopped fresh spinach
  • 1/4 cup chopped walnuts or pecans Optional, can be substituted with sunflower seeds
  • 2 tbsp honey or maple syrup
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 zest orange (optional) For added flavor

Instructions

Preparation

  • In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese with chopped spinach, dried cranberries, chopped nuts, honey, salt, and optional orange zest. Mix until everything is smooth and evenly blended.
  • Lay one tortilla flat on a clean surface. Spread 1/4 of the cream cheese mixture evenly across the tortilla, reaching all the way to the edges.
  • Roll the tortilla tightly into a log, starting from one edge. Repeat this process with the remaining tortillas and filling mixture.
  • Wrap each rolled tortilla tightly in plastic wrap and place them in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes to set.
  • Once chilled, unwrap each roll and slice them into 3/4-inch pieces using a sharp knife.
  • Arrange the sliced roll-ups on a platter and serve them chilled or at room temperature.

Notes

These roll-ups can be made a day in advance. Serve with colorful garnishes or a dipping sauce to enhance flavor. For variation, substitute cream cheese with Greek yogurt or vegan alternatives.
