Ingredients

Main Ingredients

  • 2 jars (16 oz each) Lightly salted, dry-roasted peanuts
  • 32 ounces White/vanilla candy coating
  • 10 ounces Dark chocolate chips Can substitute with milk chocolate chips
  • 6 ounces Butterscotch chips
  • 1/3 cup Toffee bits

Optional Garnishes

  • Festive sprinkles For decoration
  • Sea salt For extra flavor

Instructions

Preparation

  • Coat a 6-quart crockpot with nonstick cooking spray or use a liner for easy cleanup.
  • Layer the ingredients in the crockpot: first the peanuts, then the candy coating, followed by the chocolate chips, butterscotch chips, and finally the toffee bits. Do not stir yet!

Cooking

  • Cover the crockpot with the lid and set it to cook on low for 1 hour.
  • After an hour, stir the mixture gently until all the peanuts are nicely coated with the melted chocolate. Continue to cook on low, stirring every 15 to 20 minutes for another hour.
  • Once complete, turn off the crockpot.
  • Line a couple of large cookie sheets with parchment paper. Using a tablespoon-sized cookie scoop or a spoon, drop spoonfuls of the mixture onto the parchment paper, leaving some space between each.
  • If desired, sprinkle with festive sprinkles and a dash of sea salt before the chocolate hardens.
  • Chill the cookie sheets for about 1 hour until the treats are fully hardened, or let them stand on the counter until set.

Notes

Store your Crockpot Candy in an airtight container at room temperature for up to two weeks. You can mix and match nuts or add extracts for enhanced flavor.
