  • 1/4 cup plain Greek yogurt (60g)
  • 1/2 cup milk (any variety) (120ml)
  • 1 tbsp cream cheese (15g)
  • 1 to 2 tbsp honey or maple syrup (15-30ml)
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup diced fresh strawberries (75g)

Instructions

Preparation

  • In a medium bowl or jar, combine the old-fashioned oats, milk, and plain Greek yogurt. Mix well until the oats are fully coated.
  • Add the cream cheese, honey or maple syrup, and vanilla extract. Stir until smooth and creamy.
  • Gently fold in the diced fresh strawberries.
  • Transfer the mixture to a mason jar or airtight container, layering with extra strawberries if desired.
  • Seal the jar and refrigerate overnight or for at least 4-6 hours.

Serving

  • In the morning, give it a good stir. If the mixture is too thick, add a splash of milk to reach your desired consistency.
  • Top with your favorite garnishes, and enjoy!

Notes

These overnight oats can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. For flavor variations, try using different fruits or add cocoa powder for a chocolate twist. To make it dairy-free, use almond milk or coconut yogurt.
