Ingredients

Main Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked turkey, shredded
  • 2 cups stuffing (prepared according to package instructions)
  • 1 cup cranberry sauce
  • 1/2 cup onion, finely chopped
  • 1/2 cup celery, finely chopped
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon sage
  • 1 teaspoon thyme
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 egg beaten (optional for binding)
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs (for coating)

Instructions

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a large bowl, combine the shredded turkey, prepared stuffing, cranberry sauce, onion, celery, parsley, sage, thyme, salt, and pepper. Mix well until all the ingredients are evenly combined.
  • If you find the mixture is too loose, add the beaten egg to help bind it together.
  • Form the mixture into small balls, roughly the size of a golf ball.
  • Roll each ball in the breadcrumbs until fully coated.

Cooking

  • Place the balls on a lined baking sheet, giving them enough space to cook evenly.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until they are golden brown and deliciously crisp.
  • Serve warm and enjoy these delightful bites!

Notes

These stuffing balls are versatile as appetizers or side dishes. Drizzle extra cranberry sauce on top or provide a dipping sauce. Consider adding nuts for crunch or spices for extra flavor. Store prepared balls in the refrigerator or freeze for later use.
