  • 2 cups cooked chicken or turkey, shredded or chopped 500 g
  • 1/2 cup dried cranberries 75 g
  • 1/2 cup chopped celery 75 g
  • 1/4 cup chopped red onion 40 g
  • 1/4 cup chopped pecans or walnuts 30 g

Dressing

  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise 120 ml
  • 2 tablespoons sour cream or Greek yogurt 30 g
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard 15 ml
  • to taste Salt and pepper

Garnish

  • to taste Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

Preparation

  • Shred or chop cooked chicken or turkey into bite-sized pieces.
  • In a large bowl, mix the chicken or turkey, cranberries, celery, red onion, and the chopped nuts.
  • In a small bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, sour cream (or Greek yogurt), Dijon mustard, salt, and pepper until the mixture is smooth and creamy.
  • Pour the dressing over the salad and fold the ingredients gently until everything is evenly coated.
  • Cover the bowl and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to let the flavors develop.
  • Before serving, garnish with fresh parsley and enjoy it on a bed of greens, within a sandwich, or with your favorite crackers.

Notes

For extra creaminess, consider adding a bit more mayonnaise or diced avocado. You can also mix in diced apples or grapes for added sweetness and crunch. For a spicy kick, add chopped jalapeƱos or cayenne pepper.
