Ingredients

Main Ingredients

  • 1 package (8 oz) cream cheese, softened (226 g)
  • ½ cup cranberry hot pepper jelly (120 ml)
  • 1 package (12 count) mini phyllo cups
  • ¼ cup chopped fresh chives (15 g)
  • ¼ teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  • In a medium bowl, mix the softened cream cheese, garlic powder, salt, and pepper until the mixture is smooth.
  • Using a spoon or a piping bag, fill each mini phyllo cup evenly with the cream cheese mixture.
  • Top each cup with 1 teaspoon of the cranberry hot pepper jelly.
  • Sprinkle the fresh chives on top of the jelly for a burst of color and flavor.

Baking

  • If desired, warm the cups in the oven for 5–7 minutes.

Serving

  • Serve immediately, either warm or chilled, and enjoy!

Notes

These cups are best enjoyed fresh! Consider pairing them with crispy crackers or a fresh vegetable platter for crunch. A glass of crisp white wine or sparkling water complements their flavors nicely. Make the cream cheese mixture a day in advance and fill cups just before serving for the best texture. Try adding a pinch of smoked paprika or some finely chopped jalapeños for an extra kick.
