Ingredients

Main Ingredients

  • 1 box 17.3 ounces (485 grams) frozen puff pastry, containing 2 sheets, thawed
  • 3/4 cup whole berry cranberry sauce
  • 1/2 cup crumbled feta cheese
  • 1 large egg for egg wash

Instructions

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and arrange the racks in the center and lower third of the oven.
  • Roll each sheet of thawed puff pastry into two rectangles measuring approximately 12 inches x 9 inches (30 cm x 23 cm).
  • Place one pastry sheet with a long side facing you and spread 3/4 cup of cranberry sauce evenly over it, leaving a 1/4 inch (0.6 cm) border at the top and bottom.
  • Evenly sprinkle the crumbled feta cheese over the cranberry sauce.
  • Place the second pastry sheet on top of the first and press the edges together to seal.
  • Cut the combined pastry sheet from top to bottom into 12 strips, each measuring 1 inch (2.5 cm) wide.
  • Twist each strip 5 to 6 times and then bring the ends together to form a circle. Repeat with each strip.
  • Arrange the formed wreaths on two baking sheets lined with parchment paper.
  • Beat the large egg in a small bowl, then brush the ends of each wreath with the egg wash to secure the shape, and brush the tops for a golden finish.

Baking

  • Bake the wreaths in the preheated oven for about 25 to 30 minutes, or until they are deeply golden brown.
  • Allow the wreaths to cool for about 10 minutes before serving.

Notes

Serve the wreaths on a large platter, optionally garnished with fresh herbs. Can be made ahead and refrigerated before baking. For variations, swap cranberry sauce with raspberry or cherry.
