Ingredients

For the Dip

  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup fresh cranberries, chopped
  • 1/2 cup pecans, chopped
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon

For Serving

  • 1 baguette sliced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil for brushing on the baguette slices

Instructions

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, sour cream, and shredded cheddar cheese. Mix until smooth and creamy.
  • Gently fold in the chopped cranberries, pecans, brown sugar, vanilla extract, and cinnamon until well incorporated.

Baking

  • Transfer the mixture to a small baking dish and spread evenly. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes, or until the dip is bubbly and lightly golden on top.

Toasting

  • While the dip is baking, brush the baguette slices with olive oil and place them on a baking sheet. Toast the baguette slices during the last 10 minutes of the dip’s cooking time, until golden and crisp.

Serving

  • Remove the dip and baguette from the oven. Enjoy the dip warm with the toasted slices for dipping.

Notes

Consider adding a sprinkle of chopped pecans or whole cranberries on top for garnish. This dip pairs well with apple slices, tortilla chips, or fresh vegetables. You can prepare the dip mixture ahead of time and store in the fridge until ready to bake.
