Ingredients

Biscuit Ingredients

  • 1 small roll small roll of canned biscuits (about 8 biscuits)
  • 1/4 cup sugar (white and brown combined)
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 to 2 tablespoons butter

Icing Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 to 2 teaspoons milk
  • 1/8 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  • Place 1 to 2 tablespoons of butter in a 6x9 inch pan and put it in the preheating oven until melted.
  • Cut each canned biscuit into four equal pieces.
  • In a resealable bag, combine the sugar and cinnamon.
  • Add the cut biscuit pieces into the bag with the sugar mix, seal the bag, and shake gently until well coated.
  • Once the butter is melted, spread the coated biscuit pieces evenly over the melted butter in the pan.

Baking

  • Bake the biscuit bites in the preheated oven for 15 minutes, or until golden brown.

Making the Icing

  • While the bites are baking, whisk together powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract in a small bowl to make a smooth icing.
  • Once the bites are out of the oven, immediately drizzle the icing over them while still hot.

Notes

Best enjoyed warm. Sprinkle additional powdered sugar on top just before serving or add a dollop of whipped cream for an indulgent twist. These bites pair wonderfully with coffee or tea.
