Ingredients

Main Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened (226 grams)
  • 1/2 cup cranberry sauce (125 grams)
  • 1/4 cup honey (85 grams)
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract (2.5 mL)
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt (1.5 grams)

Instructions

Preparation

  • In a mixing bowl, add the softened butter. Make sure it’s at room temperature for easy blending.
  • Scoop in the cranberry sauce. You can use homemade or store-bought!
  • Pour in the honey, followed by the vanilla extract and salt.
  • Using a hand mixer or a whisk, beat the mixture until it is smooth and creamy. This should take about 2-3 minutes.
  • Once you’re happy with the consistency, you can serve it right away or store it in an airtight container.
  • If saving for later, pop the container in the refrigerator. Remember to let it soften a bit before serving.

Notes

To make it even more special, add spices like cinnamon or nutmeg, try different sweeteners like agave or maple syrup, or mix in chopped nuts for added texture.
