Ingredients

Meat Mixture

  • 1 lb Ground Beef Use a lean variety for best results.
  • 1 lb Ground Pork Adds flavor and moisture.
  • 1 cup Breadcrumbs Can use plain or seasoned.

  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire Sauce Enhances the meat flavor.
  • ½ cup Milk To moisten the mixture.
  • 1 Egg Acts as a binder.
  • 1 cup Cubed Cheese (Mozzarella, Cheddar, or Pepper Jack) Choose your favorite or mix.

Glaze

  • ½ cup Ketchup Regular ketchup works fine.
  • 2 tablespoons Brown Sugar Adds sweetness to the glaze.

Seasoning

Instructions

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a muffin tin.
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine ground beef, ground pork, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, chopped onion, minced garlic, Worcestershire sauce, milk, egg, salt, and pepper. Mix gently with your hands until well combined.

Stuffing

  • Take a scoop of the meat mixture and flatten it in your palm. Place a pinch of cheese in the center, fold the meat around the cheese, and roll it into a ball.
  • Arrange each meatball in the greased muffin cups.

Glazing and Baking

  • In a small bowl, mix together ketchup and brown sugar. Brush this mixture generously over the tops of the meatloaf bites.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for about 20 to 25 minutes until cooked through and cheese is melted.

Serving

  • Let the bites cool for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy warm!
