Ingredients

Biscuit Ingredients

  • 1 can Pillsbury Grands! Southern Homestyle Biscuits (450 g) 8-count
  • 8 cubes mozzarella cheese (about 2.5 cm each)
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted divided
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley optional, for garnish
  • 1 tablespoon grated Parmesan cheese optional, for garnish
  • 1 cup Marinara sauce optional, for dipping

Instructions

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 190°C (375°F). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it to prevent sticking.
  • Open the can of biscuits and separate the 8 biscuits. On a clean surface, gently flatten each biscuit slightly with your hands to create a disk.
  • Place one cheese cube in the center of each flattened biscuit.
  • Carefully fold the edges of the biscuit dough over the cheese, gathering it around the cheese cube. Pinch the dough tightly to seal the cheese inside.
  • Roll each biscuit into a smooth, round ball, placing it seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet. Make sure the seams are well-sealed to prevent the cheese from oozing out while baking.

Baking

  • In a small bowl, mix together 2 tablespoons of the melted butter, minced garlic, and Italian seasoning. Brush this garlic butter mixture generously over the tops of the biscuit bombs.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 12 to 15 minutes, or until golden brown and puffed up.
  • Once baked, brush with remaining melted butter and sprinkle with parsley and Parmesan cheese if desired.

Serving

  • Serve warm with marinara sauce for dipping.

Notes

These biscuit bombs are perfect for parties or as a snack. You can also prepare them in advance and refrigerate before baking. Variations include using different cheeses or adding cooked vegetables.
