Ingredients

Main Ingredients

  • 1.5 pounds chicken breasts About 4 pieces
  • 1 cup Kraft Catalina Salad Dressing
  • 14 ounces cranberry sauce 1 can
  • 1 ounce onion soup mix 1 packet
  • To taste salt and pepper For seasoning
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil For cooking

Instructions

Preparation

  • Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper on both sides.
  • Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the chicken breasts and sear them for about 5-7 minutes on each side until golden brown. Remove them from the skillet and set aside.

Sauce Preparation

  • In a bowl, combine the Kraft Catalina dressing, cranberry sauce, and onion soup mix. Mix until well combined.

Cooking

  • Reduce the heat to medium-low and return the chicken to the skillet. Pour the cranberry and Catalina mixture over the chicken, ensuring it’s well coated.
  • Cover the skillet and let it simmer for about 20-25 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C).

Serving

  • Once done, serve garnished with fresh herbs or a sprinkle of additional cranberry sauce if desired.

Notes

Great for meal prep as it reheats well and tastes even better the next day. Consider plating the chicken over rice or potatoes to soak up the sauce.
