Ingredients

Flatbread Base

  • 1 piece store-bought flatbread or naan (25–30 cm) Approximately 10–12 inches
  • 1 tbsp olive oil For brushing

Toppings

  • 4 oz brie cheese Sliced or cubed, can substitute with Camembert or goat cheese
  • 1/4 cup dried cranberries Can substitute with dried cherries or figs
  • 1/4 cup toasted walnuts Chopped, can replace with pecans or almonds
  • 2 tbsp hot honey Or substitute with honey combined with chili flakes
  • Optional fresh thyme leaves For garnish

Instructions

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Place the flatbread directly on the lined baking sheet and lightly brush the surface with olive oil.
  • Evenly distribute the slices or cubes of brie cheese over the flatbread.
  • Sprinkle the dried cranberries and chopped walnuts on top.

Baking

  • Bake in the preheated oven for 8–10 minutes, or until the brie is melted and the edges of the flatbread are golden brown.
  • Remove from the oven and drizzle with hot honey while it’s still warm.
  • Optional: Garnish with fresh thyme leaves for an aromatic touch.
  • Slice into pieces and serve immediately.

Notes

For crispy edges, make sure not to overcrowd the toppings. Let the flatbread cool for a couple of minutes after baking for easier slicing. Use a higher-quality olive oil for a richer flavor. If making ahead, prepare the flatbread up to 8 hours in advance and bake right before serving. Experiment with adding fresh fruits, like sliced pears or apples, for added sweetness.
