Ingredients

Main Ingredients

  • 4 pieces salmon fillets (6-ounce each)
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice
  • 1 piece lime zest Zest of 1 lime
  • 2 tablespoons freshly chopped parsley for garnish
  • Lime wedges for serving

Instructions

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C) and line a baking sheet with foil or parchment paper for easy cleanup.
  • Season the salmon fillets with salt and pepper to taste. Arrange them on the prepared baking sheet, skin-side down.
  • In a small bowl, whisk together the melted butter, minced garlic, honey, lime juice, and lime zest until well combined.
  • Drizzle the honey lime garlic butter mixture evenly over each salmon fillet, making sure to coat them well.

Cooking

  • Bake in the preheated oven for 15 to 18 minutes, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork. If you prefer a more golden top, broil for the last 2 to 3 minutes, watching closely to prevent burning.
  • Once done, remove the salmon from the oven and sprinkle with chopped parsley for a pop of color and extra flavor.

Serving

  • Serve immediately with lime wedges on the side.

Notes

Use fresh garlic and lime for the best flavor. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days. Reheat gently in the oven or microwave. You can experiment with different herbs like dill or cilantro, or swap honey with maple syrup for variation.
