Ingredients

Main Ingredients

  • 200 g unsweetened applesauce Unsweetened applesauce keeps the sweetness natural, making it a healthier option.
  • 120 g coconut flakes, plus more for rolling Use unsweetened for a healthier version, or sweetened if you prefer a sweeter treat.
  • 80 g rolled oats Rolled oats work best for texture, but quick oats can also be used if necessary.
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon One teaspoon helps keep the flavor balanced.

Instructions

Preparation

  • In a mixing bowl, combine 200 g applesauce, 120 g coconut flakes, 80 g oats, and 1 tsp cinnamon. Stir well to combine.
  • Allow the mixture to sit for about 15 minutes to help the oats absorb moisture and soften.
  • After 15 minutes, dampen your hands slightly, scoop a small amount of the mixture and roll it into a ball.
  • Roll the formed balls in additional coconut flakes, ensuring they are well coated.
  • Place the rolled pralines on a baking sheet or plate and chill them in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
  • Serve chilled and enjoy!

Notes

Store the pralines in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to one week. These pralines pair wonderfully with a cup of tea or coffee and make a great on-the-go snack. You can adjust the size of the balls; smaller ones make for bite-sized snacks while larger ones are great for a satisfying treat.
