Instructions

Preparation

  • Stir in 1/2 cup milk, 1/2 cup small-diced apple, 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon, 1/4 teaspoon vanilla, a pinch of salt, and 1 to 2 teaspoons maple syrup.
  • Optional: Add 1 teaspoon chia seeds, a spoon of yogurt, or 1 tablespoon chopped pecans.
  • Mix well, cover, and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight.

Serving

  • In the morning, stir, taste, and adjust. Add a splash of milk if it's too thick, or an extra sprinkle of cinnamon if you want more spice.
